A multi-tool built for the roadside

Every Italian Army Knife uses forged, mid-length bits. They're long enough to reach recessed bolts but short enough that they won't twist under moderate torque, which can happen with longer tools. Forging costs more than bending hex stock, but you'll appreciate it in the middle of a roadside repair.

Keeping the bits mid-length also lets Silca line them up in the same plane, which cuts the tool's thickness in half. Double-chromed bits and all-stainless hardware and bushings fight corrosion, the number one killer of multi-tools, and forged aluminum side plates hold rare-earth magnets.

Which one?

  • Nove (9 tools): the compact essentials for road rides.
  • Tredici (13 tools): more bits for a wider range of bikes and fixes.
  • Venti (20 tools): the full kit. Its chain tool uses a magnetic slide-lock design that makes it more than twice as long as most for better leverage, and it comes off the tool completely. The side plates hide a spare master link, and the bits use Silca's high-grip chrome for better torque transfer.
